If you are a Data Controller or Data Protection Officer, one of the toughest jobs is keeping across sector news and filtering out the noise to get to the really valuable information. There are some things you want to know about – potential security flaws, relevant legal cases and rulings, new tools and services that help make your job easier – but there is such a vast quantity of data out there, getting to the good stuff is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
We’re working on a couple of ways to filter some quality news around Data Privacy, GDPR and general security issues. On the sidebar to the right, you’ll see a newsfeed with headlines from some leading publications. This won’t be perfect and we will improve this over time, but this is a good one to bookmark for a quick check on relevant news once or twice a week.
